Top Achievers 2009Top Achievers 2009The JA Company Awards Ceremony was held on 29 January at Protea Hotel Furstenhof in Windhoek. During the Ceremony the Top Achievers in last year’s JA Company programme were awarded for their performance. We congratulate Vicky Kapuka and Eric Sofika for winning the National Top Achiever Awards for 2009. Cinema Magzotic & Catering from Grootfontein Secondary School was named Top Company 2009.

Junior Achievement launches a worldwide Business Ethics Essay Competition!
The goal of the JA Business Ethics Essay Competition is to engage students worldwide in critical, ethical decision-making discussions and resolutions demonstrated in an essay format. Winners will receive cash or scholarship prizes.

JA Namibia also promotes World Bank Essay Competition!
This year's theme is Youth Unemployment.

Junior Achievement Namibia is proud of the achievements of Namibian youth! Therefore, JA Namibia declares the first week of May 2010 to be the Week of the Young Entrepreneur!

Official call for nominations Namibian Business Hall of Fame 2010

The formal Launch of the Namibian Business Hall of Fame 2010 has taken place on 29 October 2009 at Hotel Thule. The event was attended by several Laureates, JA Board Members and JA business partners.

During the event, the audience was addressed by Mr. Tarah Shaanika - CEO of the Namibian Chamber of Commerce (NCCI), Mrs. Johanna Cloete - Country Director of Junior Achievement Namibia, Laureate Mathews Hamutenya, Laureate Harold Pupkewitz, and Mr. Brian Rubinstein - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement Namibia.
